Most senior personnel staffing an EOC have an Executive Assistant or Administrative Assistant with them. In addition, there are clerical aides, IT and telecoms staff, security, and other support personnel at the EOC.

We offer a special one-day EOC Operations for Support Staff workshop which explains how an EOC functions, what roles the various people in it have, and how the support staff fit in.

In addition, a section on personal preparedness will help the support staff when they are called to assist their principals during an EOC activation. This is a unique course, the only one of its kind in Canada, which uses a number of real-life videos to bring home various points to the students
